Ripley High School is reviving a cherished tradition with the return of its Homecoming Parade, marking the first time the event has taken place since the 1980s.
Parade Details
The parade will take place on Thursday, September 24, at 6:30 p.m., beginning near First Baptist Church and ending near First Methodist Church in downtown Ripley. The parade will feature the Homecoming Court, cheerleaders, Pom Squad, Tiger Band, and the football team.
Residents are encouraged to bring family, lawn chairs, and wear black and gold to line the parade route and show support.

Following the parade, a Community Pep Rally will be held at 7:30 p.m. at the Ripley High School football field.
On Friday night, the Ripley Tigers will face the Booneville Blue Devils in a homecoming football game. The Homecoming Court presentation and crowning will begin at 6:30 p.m., with kickoff at 7 p.m.
The school is inviting the community to participate in welcoming back this special tradition.
