Open Mic Night Comes to Downtown Ripley This Friday
Local entertainment venue The Cut-Off is rolling out the welcome mat for performers of all kinds this Friday, June 19, with an Open Mic Night designed to celebrate community talent and support downtown revitalization efforts.
Event Details
The evening will run from 7:00 to 9:00 PM at The Cut-Off, located at 204 S. Commerce Street in downtown Ripley. Whether you're a seasoned performer or someone looking to share your talent for the first time, organizers are inviting singers, musicians, poets, comedians, and other artists to take the stage.
How to Participate
Interested performers can sign up for a time slot in two ways: by scanning a QR code at the venue or by registering online at https://app.seemylegacy.com/community/2637/campaign/9417. The event welcomes Bluetooth-enabled music, making it accessible for performers with backing tracks.
Part of Downtown After Hours Initiative
Open Mic Night is part of the broader Downtown After Hours series, a community initiative designed to energize downtown Ripley. Participating downtown shops will extend their hours until 7:00 PM on remaining Fridays in June, giving attendees the opportunity to shop and dine before or after the show.
"Come enjoy a great night of local talent, community, and summer fun," organizers said in their announcement. The event promises to be a family-friendly evening that brings neighbors together and supports local businesses.
