BLUE MOUNTAIN, Miss. — The Blue Mountain Cougars are celebrating a major postseason accomplishment as three standout players have been named to the Region 2 Class 1A All-Division Team.
Congratulations go out to:
- Chance Venson – All Division Team
- Jordan Hall – All Division Team
- Trey Houston – All Division Team
The trio played a pivotal role in leading the Cougars throughout the season, showcasing leadership, consistency, and impact performances on both ends of the floor.
Venson’s steady play and scoring ability made him a constant threat, while Hall’s presence in the paint and ability to control the tempo gave Blue Mountain a strong interior anchor. Houston’s athleticism and defensive intensity helped fuel the Cougars in key region matchups.
Earning All-Division recognition in Region 2 Class 1A is no small feat. The honor reflects not only individual talent but also dedication, work ethic, and the respect of coaches across the region.
Head coach Britt Lindley praised the group for their leadership and character throughout the season.
“Going to miss these three guys next year! Couldn’t ask for a better group of guys to lead our team.”
The Cougars’ success this season was built on teamwork, discipline, and a commitment to improvement — and having three players recognized at the all-division level speaks volumes about the strength of the program.
With Venson, Hall, and Houston leaving a strong legacy, Blue Mountain basketball looks to build on the foundation they helped establish.
Congratulations to these outstanding student-athletes on a well-earned honor.
