RCTV-19 looking for local Singer-Songwriters and artists for in-studio featured broadcasts

RCTV-19, a local community station, is looking to feature singer-songwriters for an upcoming series of local television broadcasts.

These broadcasts will be featured on the RCTV-19 station and they will be streamed to the largest digital audience in the state of Mississippi.

“We are excited to partner with the Mississippi News Group to produce these high-quality broadcasts featuring local talent. We will be showcasing them with a digital broadcast as well as on-air via the television station,” program director Kayla Myers said of the upcoming series.

According to Myers, the recordings will give the musicians the ability to reach a large local market and will have an element of storytelling via an interview as well as being able to feature their music.

The series will be like a local version of NPR Tiny-Desk recordings.

The station is primarily looking for recording artists in North Mississippi, South Tennessee and West Alabama, but artists willing to travel are welcome to contact the station.

All interested musicians can e-mail the station at RCTV19@gmail.com or give us a call at 662-837-9088
