Mrs. Sharon Griffith passed away peacefully at her home in Ripley, MS, on September 8, 2026, at the age of 76.
Mrs. Sharon was born September 1, 1950, in Detroit, Michigan, to Charles Thurmond Griffith and Loraine Coon Griffith. She completed her high school education and later served as an Army nurse. She was married to the love her life Jack Hood for 30 years. Sharon was a devoted homemaker who cherished her home and family.
Mrs. Sharon is preceded in death by her parents, Charles Thurmond Griffith and Loraine Coon Griffith; her husband Jack Hood; and her three sisters, Maria Moore, Geri Duncan, and Karen Holland.
Mrs. Sharon is survived by her daughter, Teresa Frazier of Porthuron, Michigan; her special great niece, Kaytlin Rose; her special niece, Tammy Wilbanks of Ripley, MS; three special great-nephews, Jesse and James Wilbanks, and Dustin Rose; her two brothers, Ron Griffith of Lay Lake, FL, and Charles Griffith, Jr. of Las Vegas, NV; her four great-grandchildren, Delaney Hurd, Justin Frazier, Daniel Hurd, and Caiden Hurd; and two great-grandchildren, Grayson Hurd and Everleigh Hurd.
